I have a few very special friends and wanted to give them something. I wrote a poem for them all on friendship. Dedicated to Louise, Sarah, Emma, Sorell, Amy and Kim xx

Promise To Stay In Touch

I couldn't find the right words
Nothing seemed to rhyme
To write something for you all
I think it will take time

Because when you have friends
That are very hard to find
There's so much to say
Because you make everything alright

So I will tell you right now
exactly what I need to say
To show you how much I appreciate
You being there everyday

You're worth more than anyone
even a million pounds
Because you always know what to say
When I am feeling down

You make me smile big smiles
And my days so very bright
And when I lose my way
You find me in the night

I sometimes wish I could explain
How much you mean to me
But its just not possible
To list a billion things

So I just wanted to say
I love you so so much
And I hope you never leave me

Welcome to 3 RK 1

I am your form teacher and your English teacher and I am the person who says “Welcome to SMK Seri Iskandar and 3 RK 1!”

OK, so let’s get it started!  So, who is in your class? Quite simply, you are the finest group of form three students assembled anywhere in Malaysia this year. One school in this country has to have the best collection of students and by acclamation we are it. You are the best, not just because you are able, but because you are humane and interesting.

Now after reading this list, I can hear you asking yourself. “So what on earth am I doing in 3 RK1?” Well if it makes you feel better, let me assure you that you are not alone. The truth is: I know just how you feel. So that is what I say to you about 3 RK 1: To be in 3 RK1 is a great privilege.  So that is my first message: today, 2^nd.  January 2014 marks the start of our journey together. Look around this room at your classmates, look to your left, look to your right. You see what 3 RK 1 is, and must always be: a community of remarkable individuals, committed to excellence and humanity in everything we do.
